Closing Plenary: Reflections on Race and Poverty

Given all we have learned about strategies that effectively alleviate economic and social strains on low-income populations— many of which were illuminated during this conference—what can we say about the persistent impact of race on poverty? Armed with policy, research and experiential learning, participants will engage in a lively and interactive discussion of how foundations around the country are addressing the long-term effects of race and poverty in low- and moderate-income communities.
