Strengthening Our Communities: The Promise of Comprehensive Immigration Reform and Immigrant Integration

Comprehensive immigration reform is the critical first step to helping undocumented immigrant workers earn legal status and become full members of our society. Assuming passage, what will be the policy implementation challenges facing immigrant communities, and how can foundations respond? And if reform is not realized, how can foundations support ongoing organizing, advocacy and immigrant civic engagement to win federal reform and promote proactive immigrant integration policies at the state and local levels?
