ORGANIZE Training Center (OTC) has prepared a composite video with eight separate videos on organizing. Running time for individual video productions is from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. Total time for the entire eight videos is over two hours. The videos include those produced by the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, network television stations, and others. Among the organizations featured in the videos are groups associated with ACORN, Gamaliel Foundation, Industrial Areas Foundation, and PICO. These videos are excellent for leadership training, presenting the story of organizing to people unfamiliar with it, staff evaluation and discussion, and other educational and training purposes. For a free brochure, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to OTC; 442-A Vicksburg Street; San Francisco, CA 94114. Ask for "video flyer."

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities has set up a listserv to distribute information and share ideas on the nexus between affordable housing policy and welfare reform. Listserv subscribers will receive periodic updates from the Center and will be able to send information or pose questions to the Center or to the subscriber list. To subscribe send an e-mail to majordomo@lists.cbpp.org containing this exact message: subscribe housingwelfare. So that the Center knows you have joined the listserv, send a second e-mail to housing@cpbb.org indicating that you have joined and stating your name, organization, e-mail address, phone number, fax number, and address.

The Pew Center on the States has developed an online public policy news service to keep policy makers, journalists, and the public informed about state government public policy issues. Called Stateline, the service will track the developments of issues such as welfare reform, budget and tax legislation, health care, and education and public school financing. The information is available at www.stateline.org.
