We believe in the power of people to transform our communities. When community leadership and solutions are centered, people are able to shape the decisions that affect their daily lives. This is why Neighborhood Funders Group organizes philanthropy to support grassroots power building so that communities of color and low-income communities thrive.
Save the date for NFG's 2020 National Convening as we celebrate our 40th anniversary in our founding city, Washington, D.C.
June 29 - July 1, 2020
Join us for a fun, warm, and collaborative convening as we honor the work we have done together over the years alongside hundreds of funders from around the country. We’ll explore national philanthropic trends and movement opportunities, how to resource and shift power to communities, and grapple with timely issues in advance of the 2020 elections. This convening will be grounded in the exciting work happening in Washington, D.C. and the surrounding area.
Note: This convening is intended for foundation staff and trustees, donors, philanthropic affinity group staff, and invited speakers.
We look forward to seeing you in Washington, D.C.
