Funder Delegation to AFL-CIO Quadrennial Convention

You're invited to the Funder Delegation to the AFL-CIO Quadrennial Convention!
September 8-10, 2013
Los Angeles, CA

This September, the AFL-CIO—the federation uniting more than 12 million working people—will convene in Los Angeles to discuss the future for America’s workers and our movement. Delegates representing working families from all over the country will be prepared to make big decisions about new ways to help working people gain a voice—new forms of representation for workers, new approaches to politics and the global economy, new community partnerships and more.

This Convention will be broader and more inclusive than ever before, addressing issues from politics and the global economy to grassroots organizing and power. The AFL-CIO’s quadrennial Convention is the most important gathering of labor leaders in the country, making crucial decisions about the future of the labor movement, electing officers and engaging a broad range of partners.

Please join the NFG Working Group on Community Labor Partnerships and the AFL-CIO for a special Funder delegation— an interactive, hands-on experience with top labor leaders, community allies and special guests!

Program will include:

September 8, Sunday afternoon: Award Ceremony for National Domestic Workers Alliance

September 9, Monday:

Welcome with the Working Group on Labor and Community Partnerships

Participation in Convention Plenaries

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka Keynote Address
