Communication Officer

Communication Officer

The Communications Officer will play an instrumental role in maintaining and strengthening the organization’s communications infrastructure and developing impactful communications strategies to advance our mission. The Communications Officer also plays a critical role internally, supporting all departments by generating content for presentations, promotion, and supporting virtual and in-person event production. The three key areas of responsibility are:

  • Organizational Communications and Messaging: managing organizational communications channels and platforms, including e-newsletters, email marketing, and social media. Funders’ website is the organization’s primary tool for disseminating materials, supporting our network and communicating with the public.
  • Content Creation and Distribution: Drafting and designing content to amplify the organization’s program and research offerings online, in print, and on social media.
  • Internal Communications and Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to key R&C department projects and facilitate knowledge sharing across departments
