Dear friend,
For years Neighborhood Funders Group has been a place for meaning-making in philanthropy, a political home for funders to learn how to shift power and resources to BIPOC and low-income communities. As a connector of people, place, and power, our work at NFG is deeply relational.
Nearly a year ago, NFG hosted its 2023 National Convening in Wilmington, NC. Centered on Connection: rooted in joy, camaraderie, care, fun, and purpose — this was the first in-person convening our team held since 2018. We are now excited to share that NFG will be heading to Nashville, TN for our 2025 National Convening! More details regarding dates, hotel accommodations, community care guidelines, sponsorship opportunities, and ways to participate in convening programming will be announced later this year via NFG’s newsletter.
Until then, our team is eager to be in community with you, to strategize and take action to liberate philanthropic assets with greater ease and abundance. Below you will find a list of conferences that NFG staff will be attending over the next few months. We encourage you to reach out to us to grab a coffee or attend a conference event together, and invite you to join the sessions and member gatherings that our team is coordinating.
